Took a family vacation to the Cody/Yellowstone area and was staying near Rand Creek Ranch. My young daughter wanted to take her first horse ride so we dropped in to check the place out. Joel (the owner) was very accommodating even though we showed up unannounced and personally took my daughter and I out for a ride. We both came away very impressed. Joel and his family took very good care of us while there and we felt very welcome and right at home. Joel was a very personable and friendly guy who made this a memory-making experience, I'm sure my daughter will never forget. She has been asking when we can go again.

Thanks to you and your family Joel!

Had a great ride at your facility. To anyone who wonders you have one of the nicest ranches out there. They are not all alike. RCR is worth a little more money than the competition as they really care and have a nice place. You can't get that from the pictures or the internet. I wish we had stayed here because the place we stayed just to save 10% was a dump by comparison. PRIDE. It really shows.

We stayed in Cabin 7 from Tuesday through Saturday night. The cabin was amazingly comfortable for those 4 days and let us have the rest we needed plus offered a view we had never seen. We traveled to Cody and Yellowstone/Grand Teton during our stay and would stay here again. The cabins were clean, comfortable and updated. The owners were very friendly and offered a delivery of breakfast items around 7 a.m. each morning that I felt was a great touch. We rode horses there and if we could have stayed longer would have enjoyed much more. The young lady that took us on a trail ride was extremely friendly and we enjoyed talking with her and hearing what her future plans might be. Each day when we returned from a long driving trip, everything in our room was clean, trash was removed and new towels appeared. This was our first trip to Wyoming and it won't be our last for sure.! :D

My husband and I and two friends from Boston just returned from 6 days at Rand Creek Ranch. What an experience. The ranch is absolutely beautiful, the owners and staff were more than helpful. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin The Hideaway which was very, clean, comfortable and warm. The owners delivered us a breakfast every morning which included home made pastries. Our plan was to visit Yellowstone each day but one day we decided we wanted to stay at the ranch and enjoy the facilities. It was certainly the highlight of our vacation and thank you to Crystal and Joel and their staff for making it enjoyable. WE will certainly recommend it to friends and if ever going back that way it would be our first choice. :o :o

My mom and I just returned from our week long trip to Yellowstone. We stayed at the Rand Creek Ranch (5 days and nights) and, I must say, really enjoyed the experience there. The cabin was very clean and comfortable (we stayed in the Bear's Den cabin). The property is in the gorgeous Wapiti Valley about 20 miles outside of Cody (named after Buffalo Bill Cody) and about 40 miles outside of Yellowstone. It would be very easy to get used to living in a place like that. My mom and I both very much enjoyed the breakfasts that Krystal delivered to our front porch every morning as well.
The highlight of my stay there was the 2 hour trail ride I went on with Amy. This was my first time ever on a horse and she was incredibly patient with me in this regard. She was also very friendly over all.
I would definitely recommend RCR to friends and would stay there again if it's available when I return to explore more of Yellowstone.

We just returned from our first trip out west and in planning this trip i looked at a lot of guest ranches and pick Rand Creek Ranch. I am very glad i did the cabin was very nice and very clean the view from the porch was beautiful and the breakfast delivered to your door each morning was awesome. Krystal and Joel were very nice and made our stay very comfortable. The only regret is we were not able to have a campfire due to the dry wheather we would of liked to be able to have had one to sit around and get to know everyone. I would recommed the Rand Creek Ranch to anyone who is headed out to yellowstone. Thank YOU for a wonderful stay. Sheri, Luke, Beth and Carol.
